This is the home of the Om project. Om is an attempt to bring the higher-level aspects of software development up to the same geological age as our languages and tools have already been for years.
While there is a full-stack object model which we call Om, this project also provides libraries and specifications for parts of our system; we have an object persistence system, and object-oriented communication protocol (which you can use over the network or locally), a multi-front-end MVC-like user interface toolkit, and an extension (“plug-in”) system.
Om is Free Software; you are free to share it, to tweak it to better suit you needs, and to participate in our community by helping develop it. The developers of Om believe this is the "natural" way all software should be.
